Born Alexander Adelabu, Magixx first started making music in his early teenage years. He was officially signed to Mavin in 2021, the start of a promising music career. Since then he has released two EPs, self titled and “Atom”, both praised for their adept intermingling of multiple genres.
Magixx has been recognized for his protean approach to Afro-fusion and his distinct vocal quality, bagging two Headies nominations for “Rookie of The Year” and “Best Vocal Performance (Male)”. In 2022 He was nominated for “Most Promising Artist” at the AFRIMA awards. Magixx has earned over 400 million career streams since his debut, releasing stand-out hit songs like “Love Don’t Cost a Dime (Re-Up)” feat. Ayra Starr, “All Over” and “Okay”.
With the announcement of his long-awaited debut album “I Dream in Color”, 2025 promises to be a pivotal year for the Afropop singer.
